Accommodation

As well as the various camping areas we are pleased to offer two indoor accommodation options to our visitors.

Main Centre

The main centre is a large modern building which has been renovated and expanded over recent years. The building is ideal for larger groups such as pack holidays and is split into the following areas;

Sleeping

The centre has ten bedrooms providing a total of thirty eight beds comprising;

  • Five rooms each with bunks for four,
  • Two rooms with bunks for six,
  • Two leaders’ rooms each with two bunks beds, en-suite toilet and showers,
  • One disabled access bedroom with two beds, en-suite, wet room toilet and shower.

Cooking

There is a large kitchen area adjacent to the main room containing;

  • A large catering size cooker
  • Fridge and freezer,
  • Large dual sinks with large draining areas,
  • Ample storage, shelving and work surfaces.

In addition a full set of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils is provided for the users of the centre.

The kitchen also has a serving hatch through to the common room

Living / Common Area

The main area of the centre boasts a large ‘L’ shaped common room that is suitable for dining and relaxing.
There is also a supply of games suitable for all areas and a library available for use of hirers.

Laundry Room

The laundry room is off the main living area and contains

  • Washing machine,
  • Tumble dryer,
  • Sink & drainer,
  • Drying rails

The site Payphone is also located in the laundry room

Toilets/Showers

The main centre building houses the toilet and shower areas for the campsite and consists of male and female bathrooms comprising of communal toilets and showers as well as separate disabled access toilets and showers as well as separate leader facilities.

These facilities are also available for the use of campers.

The Bothy

Our old bothy has been replaced by a modern timber lodge style building affording improved accommodation. In addition it is fully connected to mains water, electrics and drainage. Heating throughout the bothy is provided by wall mounted electric radiators.

Sleeping

There are a three bedrooms in the bothy, one of which is suitable for wheelchair users. Each of the rooms has four bunks giving a total of twelve beds.

Living

There is a large ‘L’ shaped  open plan space for dining and relaxing with a kitchen area provided with:

  • cooker,
  • fridge/freezer,
  • large sink drainers,
  • storage shelving and work surfaces,
  • a full set of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

From the living area there is access to rear Cloakroom/Wet entrance which also provides access to the separate toilet area which is suitable for disabled users.
